Claud Butler Wrath 1.0 has a strong motor, sleek integrated battery, and contemporary geometry, the Claud Butler Wrath 1.0 is the entry-level model of the brand-new Wrath electric bike series. It was designed to conquer a weekend in the woods, take a diversion on the daily commute, or explore the miles of towpath in style.
It has a well-designed 360wh hour battery that can support you for up to 28 miles or 45 km while you explore new ground. Additionally, the Bafang rear hub motor provides steady power supply and up to 32 nm of torque, which is sufficient to keep your wheels rolling up long and steep slopes. High-quality Samsung cells are used in the battery, which is simple to remove without the need for tools and charge on or off the bike in just five hours. For further peace of mind, you can leave it in a public place with the added security of a key lock.
With five power assist settings, an easy-to-read display, a straightforward system, and an abundance of information to track your ride—including battery level, current speed, average speed, maximum speed, trip distance, and trip time—the Wrath 1.0 is a great rider. We installed a walk assist mode, which engages the motor to assist in pulling the bike up steep hills, to make things easier while you’re not riding.
However, we didn’t give the battery and motor our whole attention. The robust and agile Shimano Alivio 1×9 speed gearing and strong Tektro hydraulic disc brakes on the Wrath 1.0 help you maintain control whether you’re riding trails or negotiating city traffic. We equipped it with lock-on grips, a sleek Selle Royal saddle for added comfort, and a suspension fork with 100mm of travel and hydraulic lock-out.
29inch mountain bike wheels are the size of choice for those who want maximum grip, comfort and efficiency, and for this reason we’ve chosen super wide 29×2.4 CST Patrol tyres in an all-black finish. So whether its rocks and roots you’re navigating over or simply dealing with the terrain around town, you know we’ve got you covered.
